Inside Men

Today i watched Inside Men. A new TV crime drama/thriller from ENGLAND. The drama invovles a trio of workers working in a bank who have to face a difficult situation when a unite of armed robbers invade the bank, with the cash strapped trio uniting to solve this problem.

The drama is set in gritty, rural england based around a financial couting house( which is ironic seeing as they are all in need to find some cash, which then causes the inccident of money being stolen by two of the men chris and marcus.) The show starts with all guns blazing leaving the narrative as restricitive. We dont know who the people are, we dont know the setting BUT we get a look at are 3 characters. All in buisness dress, leaving us to think they are business men. But we later see that maybe there buisness dress is not there only connection as we see in a flashback to january that the 3 are situated in a problem when marcus( the muscle ) has been stealing money for the sake of it.

As we get more involved with the drama we see that the narrative has started of with an distruption before its resolution and eqiuilibrium. Leavving the narrative that leads your narrative into a spiral and leaving you thinking this thinking that. Yet the story later on is all set as a flashback. Helping us construct this restricitive narrative. But you cannot watch one episode to get fully involved, it will have to be watched in all its 4 parts every thursdays. Despite us getting an insight that they are not very trutworthy, unloyal, sneeky we see that they are more of anti heroes- we will get to love them yet they will betray justice to get what they want. It seems that the characters are symbiotic( meaning they work with eachover to safe the other ) but we see that maybe this isnt prehaps the situation we expected.

This show is nothing like sherlock or csi. It does not relie of brain or power alone to fight the crime, its a mixture of both.
